Music lessons with me
I am keen to teach music to all age groups and across a variety of disciplines. My approach with all my students is one of positivity, encouragement, and fun. Nevertheless, I am perceptive and exacting. I teach constructively and thoroughly, so that every moment of the lesson has direction. Most often, my lessons revolve around technique—the How and Why behind the music making. My aim is that every lesson equips my students with new technical knowledge so that they can continue to teach themselves. Every student is different, and every lesson is catered to their specific needs. The pursuit of musical excellence is at the forefront of all my work, but beneath that lies the more fundamental goal of engendering widespread love for and wholesome appreciation of music.
I offer lessons in Voice, Piano, Organ, Music Theory, and Conducting. Generally, I am available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons until 6:00pm. All my lessons take place at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Wilton, part of the WEPCO complex, located at 36 New Canaan Road.
